Hey there! I’m Cemal :)
I began my design career in freelance where I learned what I consider to be “the golden rule”: no two projects are the same. I’ve since worked as a Product Designer for a Fortune 100 fintech, to a fintech of just four people, and lead the design of a multitude of other projects in my spare time.
I believe that UX Design is a discipline that is centered around listening to the needs of a multitude of different personas; clients, end users, Product, and developers to name a few. I’ve thus found that my greatest asset is my innate ability to patiently listen before speaking.
Outside of work
I am very ambitious. Some of my goals, passions, and dreams include;
- Memorizing the holy Qur’an (in Arabic).
- Studying finance and advising institutions, and individuals, on better ways to generate wealth.
- Snowboarding, hiking, gardening, and horseback riding. I love being outdoors!
- Making electronic music.

I’m a laidback person that loves to take life slowly, and I have an obsession with sarcasm and playful banter.
